May Meeting
"The Innovation Challenge"
May 10th,2012 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
In February 2012 David Smith was one of a small group of seasoned corporate travel managers, assembled to discuss the current state of affairs, needs and requirements of 21st century corporate travel managers. The result of this forum was the Corporate Travel Manifesto. The document is a statement of opinions created by the group who believe key aspects of managed travel are broken and that major innovation is needed to keep up with best practices in other industries. The Innovation Challenge presentation will review and discuss the Manifesto's Seven Key Tenets-principles held true by members of our profession-that reflect basic truths about the kind of change that is necessary for our companies and employees to purchase travel effectively in today's world.
