Giving Back to the Community in Partnership with Central City Concern and Airbnb

As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, OBTA is partnering with Central City Concern to assist adults and families impacted by homelessness, poverty and addiction for its April 2018 Connect, hosted by Airbnb.

Attendees are asked to bring in-kind items, including kitchen and hygiene essentials, seasonally appropriate clothing, bed linens and more to help those most at risk in the local community. Central City Concern will collect all donations and use them as part of their unique, individualized programming.

A special focus is being placed on kitchen supplies for this event. In conjunction with the Oregon Food Bank, Central City Concern offers a program called Cooking Matters, which teaches residents and patients how to make nutritious meals on a budget. Not only does this program teach useful skills, but it also helps build community in a safe and welcoming space.

For a full list of items, please see the PDF below or attached, or visit Central City Concern's Amazon Wish List.

As with all OBTA events, attendees will have the opportunity to network with leading local business travel executives from throughout the region.
