Who We Are
Our aim is to bring the talents and gifts of our community together to create an opportunity to serve each child that has been impacted by sexual exploitation in our local community. The community unites to provide youth with a home, nourishment, education, holistic healing, mentorship, service, and opportunity to grow, believe, and become their greatest potential. Donations
Donations will be collected at each monthly event for our community partner, A Village for One, to be available for their outpatient programing. Most urgently needed items generally include; culturally specific haircare products, new socks, underwear, sports bras, and hygiene products.
Be Knowledgeable and Win! Blue Lightning Initiative
PDX has an ongoing partnership with the Blue Lightning Initiative (BLI) – a program led by the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Transportation – to help train PDX and Port of Portland employees to identify potential traffickers and human trafficking victims, and to report their suspicions to federal law enforcement.
